The First Bluebell

This makes me smile because I remember what I was doing when I took it. I had gone to Ashridge Forest early in the morning to try and catch some sunrise pictures. When I arrived the light was not right and there was little to take so I turned my attention to the one or two bluebells which were just beginning to emerge. I was trying to capture not only the bluebell but also the surroundings and to do that I had to lie flat on the floor, at that stage I didnt have a low tripod or an articulating screen on my camera, This led to some very puzzled looks from some people walking their dogs!
