Club Competitions 2008 - 2009

I joined Shillington and District Camera Club in September 2008 and threw myself wholeheartedly into the competitions. I had little idea what I was doing and had to ask, what I now know to be, some very basic questions in order to ensure that I kept within the rules. The response was always helpful and friendly with never a hint of frustration at my lack of knowledge.

On October 13th 2008 I entered my first club competition. I had never seen my photographs projected so it was with a great deal of trepidation that I waited for my images appear on the screen.
To my delight and utter amazement the judge awarded second place to His only Friend? and first place to The Pianist.

I entered all club competitions during the year, with mixed success. some of the other images which were placed, commended or highly commended are shown here.
