Personal Favourites

Photography is not all about entering competitions and whilst they can be a good way of honing ones skills I do not believe they should ever become the sole reason for taking photographs.
Many of these images are the result of experiments with my camera and whilst they may not be good technically they are important to me, either because they have helped me to move my photography forward, because they were fun to take, they record a personal moment in time or because they evoke memories which may mean very little to others. I believe that these are some of the many valid reasons for taking photographs.
