Exhibitions 2009 - 2010

This is now my second year of entering Exhibitions. I had thought it would become easier to select appropriate pictures, firstly because I hope I am improving and secondly because I thought I would become more astute at selecting appropriate images. However the year started frustratingly with a series of complete rejections, a few got close but nothing achieved the required standard until The Guernsey Salon, when I had three acceptances. I must admit to being rather relieved as I began to think that I was going backwards rather than improving. I am learning that the ups and downs are all part of the process and all contribute to a better understanding of photography, particularly helping me to become more critical of my own images.
